About Us
At Collaborative Family Services, we strive to provide the highest quality, empathetic care to our clients. We partner with the case team, placements, and any other supportive sources to ensure we exceed care expectations for every client.
Caring for a client involved in the dependency system can be challenging. We are here to provide support that maintains placements, stands in the gaps while placements are identified, and reassures clients that they are not alone with compassionate, trauma-informed care.
We believe in knowing the individual, building real relationships, and enhancing clients' ability to engage in their community as a whole.
Conscious Care
Our Conscious Care program ensures clients have appropriate supervision and community access. We assist in transportation to appointments, placements, activities, and many other needs. CFS is a strong advocate for sports and community engagement for clients involved in the dependency system- we can help with that too! Our goal is to protect every clients' childhood and create as much normalcy as possible, allowing them to experience life in whatever way is determined both developmentally appropriate and safe for themselves and others.
You can feel secure knowing that care coordinators are trained in child development, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation. One of our main goals is to decrease client interaction with Crisis MRT and law enforcement through positive connections and corrections. When you register with us, there is opportunity for extensive discussion of specific behaviors and triggers, and how best to approach each client to ensure their needs are met in an informed and empathetic way. Clients can be referred to our conscious care program with valid shelter documentation. Please follow the registration link on our home page, and a CFS team member will call you with more information.
Circle of Security Parenting™
Parenting education is one of the most frequent case plan tasks requested by the Department of Children and Families. There are so many courses to choose from, so why not select an evidence-based, international model with a trained and registered facilitator? Circle of Security Parenting™ is a reflective parenting education course for small groups, focused on attachment and attunement to meet the needs of a child. Our program is facilitated by a registered Circle of Security Parent Facilitator, which requires intensive training from COSP™ specialists.
This program focuses on the parent, rather than the child, and provides the parent with tools to shift their own behavior patterns to better meet the needs of their children. COSP™ is offered in eight 90 minute sessions, with participants receiving a certificate of attendance at the end.
